Last Sunday at SM By the Bay North Fountain, I witnessed a celebration from our neighboring country, India. Holi Festival is the biggest color festival from India that celebrates the turn of winter to spring. It is uniquely characterized by the special colored powder that is thrown up in the air (and at each other) to symbolize friendship, unity, and a sense of revelry.
Spotted at the events ground were many Indians from across the country, their families and friends, media and guests.
Sam YG hosted, with a lot of Cultural Performances, Bollywood & traditional songs & dances, Live DJ and Drummers, Indian cuisine & trade, Multiple Holi countdowns, Henna, Rangoli and Games.
