There are so many places on my wife and kids' list to go to this year, like Korea, Japan and Taiwan. Mine is to go to USA, specifically in Texas where my two sisters are based, and Guam where everything is #InstaGUAM!

Guam Visitors Bureau is set to once again to be part of Philippine Travel Agencies Association’s (PTAA) Travel Tour Expo 2018, the country’s biggest travel expo and is ready to pack the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City with travel junkies this coming February 9 to 11, 2018.

As this expo showcase both local and international travel destinations and their discounted deals, presentations from various exhibitors, live performances from a number of celebrities and raffle draws, this is a great avenue to bring exposure to Guam Visitors Bureau’s new campaign, #InstaGuam.

Guam booth is located at the Ground Floor of SMX convention, with this year having a bigger space to accommodate more travelers with their inquiries and some question about the island. Great show, game prizes, activities, photobooth and experience Guam “instantly” through the VR Room. Surprises awaits you as Miss Earth Guam will be there to welcome you with Guam’s talented entertainment team, Jesse, Ruby and dancers.

The 6th annual Shop Guam e-Festival, touted as the biggest shopping event in the Western Pacific, kicked off November 10 and runs through February 28. Guam Visitors Bureau’s on-going Shop Guam e-Festival is getting more and more exciting as we are about to the draw and announce the lucky winner of USD500 Travel Package on the 28th of February!

Guam Visitors Bureau began the festival in 2012 as a global social media marketing campaign, aimed to create an interactive shopping experience highlighting Guam as a modern, fashionable and diverse destination to shop. And last year, the island-wide festival of discounts and deals transformed into an e-Festival to fully embrace the vision of “Smart Tourism.”

The smartphone savvy can download the free mobile app by searching “Shop Guam” in the Apple App and Google Play stores, which will allow searching for nearby vendors by name or map location. The app delivers real-time information on resources, services, and activities to visitors and residents while promoting Guam as a modern, fashionable, and diverse destination to shop. It also details special offers available at each retailer. Just make sure you’re phone’s bluetooth is on!
