Moonstar88 at The Square

The Square, Lancaster New City’s mall and community activity center, is greeting the summer with a smile with its Happy Summer Carnival this month.

To celebrate the Carnival’s opening, The Square is kicking off the summer celebrations with a special concert featuring OPM favorite Moonstar88. The band is celebrating the 18th anniversary of their hit song, "Torete", which has serenaded lonely souls for almost two decades now. Their signature songs will take on a new vibe with the accompaniment of a 12-piece orchestra, known as the Metro Manila Concert Orchestra, which is truly something to watch out for.

“This event is tailored to make the mall a place for music, exciting sights, food, and shopping. Simply put, we want The Square to be everyone's happy place,” said Julian Sison, The Square’s marketing manager.

As the community's recreation and events place, The Square boasts an open space it calls the Central Greens, which serves as the stage for pocket events for special occasions such as Mother's Day, Father's Day, Christmas, and many more all throughout the year.
