Laiya Adventure Park

Just four hours drive from Manila (by car), Laiya Adventure Park is the best place to be if you are into heart-pumping actions such as Ziplines, Wall Climb, Free Fall, Rappel Wall, Infinity Pool, Aerial Walk, AVR and Giant Swing. This is a place where you can release your extra energy, stress or boredom and try something fun. Aside from the beautiful scenery, we like the kind of service they offer here.

Infinity Pool is awesome, it's a scenic spot that's good for selfies or groufies.

Prizes for the activities are actually affordable as compared to the other theme parks we've tried in the past.  Their infinity pool is amazingly beautiful and clean!

LAP food is delicious at an affordable prize!

All the staff and crew are respectful, helpful and extremely accommodating.

REMINDER: Strictly NO SMOKING!

Tips:

1. I suggest you travel at night to avoid traffic. We left Manila by 8pm and reach Kabayan Beach Resort at before 12 midnight.

2. If you want a relaxing experience, you need to book at least 2 days and enjoy Laiya Adventure Park and other activities within the area.

3. Book your accommodation at Kabayan Beach Resort. Both establishments have the same owners so they have discounts for Laiya Adventure Park.

4. Bringing of food is allowed but it's better if you order n advance. They serve delicious food as the owner is in the catering business for many years. Don't forget to try their Maja Blanca, Suman, Sinigang and Grilled Porkchop.

5. Start early at LAP. They open at 8am. Finish all the activities from 8am to 10am. Take a dip in their infinity pool. Have lunch in one of their bahay kubo (rental is only P500, good for 10 to 15 pax)

6. Get their package instead of per activity so you can save more.

They just opened last year so there's more attractions they plan to add. We are definitely going back at Laiya Adventure Park!

The Inflatable Island

It's been more that five years since I went out on an adventure with my friend Hen and his family. It is only fitting to surprise them, especially the kids, Sky and Eco, with an activity that they will surely enjoy so we headed north to check out The Inflatable Island in Subic.

For a family getaway this summer, I am highly recommending this biggest floating playground in Asia! This attraction is as big as 8 basketball courts put together side by side. The inflatables slides, towers, bridges, human launchers, swings and a lot more is something you shouldn't miss when it opens on April 1, 2017.

Some reminders: earring, bracelets.other accessories and sharp objects are not allowed. Bringing of camera, go pro, cellphones is allowed but at your own risk. Proper swimming gear is must to observe.
